The Latest Developments in Fitness for Service Procedures in BS7910, R6, and ASME/API579

Online

April 15, 2021

The date of this TWI TG6–FESI Seminar has been fixed for April 15, 2021. It will be an online event taking half a day (3–3.5 h) and featuring presentations. The theme is on the latest developments in fitness for service procedures in BS7910, R6, and ASME/API579.

The application of fitness for service procedures in different industries worldwide is heavily dominated by three key codes and standards: BS7910, R6, and ASME/API579. By a rare coincidence all three of these important documents have either been revised recently or are in the process of being revised in the very near future. Experts with detailed knowledge of the developments in each document will make presentations to help highlight the most significant changes. The speakers are highly experienced engineers who either chair one of the committees or are members of one or more of the committees overlooking the developments in these codes.

The following speakers have been secured for this event: Siak Manteghi, BP Exploration Operating Company Ltd; Cory Hamelin, EDF; Isabel Hadley, TWI Ltd; Andrew Cosham, Ninth Planet Engineering Ltd; John Sharples, Jacobs and Chief Technical Advisor at FESI; and Ben Hantz, Valero Energy.
