Student and Early Career Council

The FESI student and Early Career Council are a group who meet regularly of more junior, but established, structural integrity practitioners from the corporate academic and industrial FESI organisations, several of whom perform activities in association with the main FESI Council. The purpose of these associated activities is to form a network with the more senior FESI members and ensure the continuity of the organisation. The SECC also perform activities autonomously, disseminating and influencing structural integrity challenges and solutions from their perspective, with a specific focus on dissemination towards students and early practitioners. Alongside the engineering aspect of this outreach work they aim to guide less experienced students and professionals with information on career pathways whilst championing an inclusive and diverse environment within the structural integrity community.
