Who Should Join FESI?

If you are a structural integrity specialist, or involved in any sector in which structural integrity plays a part, you will benefit from joining FESI. FESI is the UK’s ESI membership organisation and provides a forum for interaction between the key players in structural integrity. FESI transfers knowledge and disseminates advances and best practice.

Established over 20 years ago, our mission is to provide a forum to exchange and enhance knowledge of engineering structural integrity.  We achieve this by enabling the dissemination of current developments and best practice between professional industry specialists, business leaders, regulatory bodies and academic communities.  We focus on people, hence our teaching seminars, hands-on workshops and biennial international conferences, all contribute towards your Continuous Professional Development.

The benefits of individual membership include:

• Attendance at FESI conference/workshops as a delegate at the discounted member rate.
• Free advertising on the FESI website, newsletters and social media outlets.
• Free ESIS membership for 12 months each year.
• Opportunity to become involved with the FESI Student and Early Career Council (SECC).
• All FESI courses and relevant conferences/workshops provide a certificate of attendance that qualifies as Continuous Professional Development.

Our strength is that we are industry-based with added support from academia and international reach into organisations in Canada, USA, Europe and China. Given the critical role of engineering structural integrity in delivering on societal goals, for example clean water, affordable and clean energy, sustainability and responsible production, our mission to exchange and enhance knowledge is more important than ever.

FESI Individual Membership

The Individual Members’ package is £130.00 + VAT (ie, £156.00) for 2026.
We also offer a student rate of £35.00 + VAT (ie, £38.50) subject to confirmation from your relevant head of department.

If you attend a FESI event then you get FREE individual membership for that calendar year.

• Membership of the FESI governing Council enabling low cost visibility in the market place.
• Attendance at FESI conference/workshops as a delegate at a discounted member rate and a discount on exhibition space (this includes all Individuals belonging to the Corporate Member organisation).
• Free advertising on the FESI website, newsletters and social media outlets for all parts of the Corporate Member organisation.
• Free ESIS Membership each year for the FESI Council Member (additional Members of a Corporate Member organisation at a small additional fee).
• University/Company logo on the FESI website (including website link).
• Logo exposure on all FESI literature, proceedings and workbooks.
• Opportunity for members of corporate organisation to become involved with the FESI Student and Early Career Council (SECC).
• All FESI courses and relevant conferences/workshops provide a certificate of attendance that qualifies as Continuous Professional Development.

How Your Organisation Can Become a FESI Corporate Member

For a membership fee of £1,800 pa (+ VAT) your organisation will receive all the above benefits and more, by aligning it with other leading players in the field of ESI, offering low-cost visibility in the marketplace, and affording potential for the expansion of your technical and commercial portfolios through first-hand identification of relevant opportunities.

We also offer a discounted Long Term Agreement as follows if paid up front:

• Payment for 2 years: £3,420 (+VAT), including a 5% discount per year on the 2026 fee.
• Payment for 3 years: £4,860 (+VAT), including a 10% discount per year on the 2026 fee.
