The 17th International Conference on Engineering Structural Integrity Assessment and 2023 International Symposium on Structural Integrity (ESIA17–ISSI2023) was held on May 23–25, 2023 at The Lowry, Salford, Manchester, UK.
The joint organisers of the conference—FESI and China Structural Integrity Consortium (CSIC)—offered prizes for the Best Two-Minute Pitch and Poster Presentation (£300), the Keith Miller Award: Best Student Presentation (£200), and the Best Presentation (£150), to recognise excellence of research and communication.
We are pleased to announce the winners of the conference prizes which were as follows.
Best Poster Presentation
Joseph Kurebwa
Efficient thermo-mechanical modelling for residual stress prediction in wire arc additive manufacturing
