Conference
ESIA16
Online
OCTOBER 6–8, 2021 (PM ONLY)
The 16th biennial International Conference on Engineering Structural Integrity Assessment (ESIA16) will now be held online via TEAMS on successive afternoons October 6–8, 2021.
The ESIA conferences have traditionally provided a good opportunity to offer a vehicle for exchange of views on how to characterise, analyse, predict and assess engineering structural integrity. They have recognised the fact that engineering structural integrity addresses cross-industry, multidisciplinary technologies, methodologies, and practices, that underpin the success and safety for current and future operations. Such organisations range from the sectors of health, medical and healthcare industries, through architecture, construction, manufacturing, all branches of engineering and transport, to the renewable power generation, petrochemical, nuclear, biomedical, electronic and aerospace industries.
The ESIA16 Conference will allow an evaluation of progress and challenges in many of these areas to ensure that economic, safe and reliable operation is achieved for new design, and existing systems. Because of the continuing concerns surrounding the COVID-19 virus, it has been decided that the Conference will be run virtually, via TEAMS, over the three half-days and will comprise of invited presentations given by internationally recognised speakers, drawn from the industry, business and academic communities. The themes of the three sessions are: New and Novel Methods (October 6), Challenges and Developments in Various Industries (October 7), and Developments Relating to Fatigue (October 8).
For the full programme of speakers and titles of presentations, please download this flyer. For details on the presentations to be delivered, please follow this link to our news section.
