Conference
ESIA13
Manchester Conference Centre, Manchester, UK
May 19–20, 2015
Every two years FESI organises an international conference on engineering structural integrity assessment (ESIA) which is intended to provide a forum for the presentation, review and discussion on the latest developments of key structural integrity issues for plant, components and structures together with buildings and the infrastructure. ESI is the science and practice of increasing and improving engineering reliability and safety. We will be considering how in this time of austerity, our economic challenges can be safely accommodated in both new design and in the operation of existing plant.
To this end, the conference will have four types of presentations:
- Keynote presentations fill the two morning sessions and examine the status of engineering structural integrity across the industry sector and associated technology. This provides a training/CPD opportunity.
- The afternoon sessions are devoted to a variety of technical presentations on inspection and monitoring, fracture analysis, integrity assessment, modelling, and material behavior
- There will be a Poster session illustrating current research projects in Structural Integrity related areas with authors attending. The posters will be on view for the of the conference
- A desktop exhibition will provide the opportunity to display SI-related products and recruitment opportunities.
