Career Opportunities at the University of Bristol, School of Physics

The School of Physics is looking to appoint an NNUF Materials Archive Project Officer to support tasks associated with the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council funded grant EP/T011394/1 ‘UK Irradiated Materials Archive Options Study’.

In this role you will be responsible for undertaking internal and external organisational activities across the nuclear power generation academic and industrial communities in the United Kingdom.

To be successful in this role you will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, a good level of numeracy and the ability to work under pressure to meet important deadlines in a vibrant environment.

There is no requirement to have specific knowledge of this energy community but there is a need to handle confidential documentation with appropriate care.

The post is offered as half-time (17.5 hours per week) on an open-ended basis with funding available until 31 March 2021.

Closing date for applications is midnight on Monday 17 February 2020. Start date is March 2020.
